Day 54 - Cracknell Park to Balburk Reserve

Finding ourselves in Burswood for this painting session, in the curve of the river across from the Maylands peninsula, we started at the secluded Cracknell Park - a few people fishing and some nice calm waters with a clear view downriver to the new stadium, as the day warmed up we moved slightly further along to Balburk reserve, where there is a park, boatramp and lods of water skiers - and wind!!

At Balburk Reserve is Goodwood Parade Boat Ramp, 50 metres from which is the wreck of the Swan Portland Dredge which between 1927 - 1956 would load shell grit from the riverbed to barges for making cement.
