Fighting the morning freeway traffic (gridlock to go painting? it's almost like a job!) we got up to Elizabeth Quay early enough to spend some time walking around looking for a nice view. Most of the area is still a construction site with new hotels being built, but we found a good angle looking out to the suspension footbridge.
A bright sunny day and a mid-morning start saw us set up and painting from a great vantage point in King's Park - on the edge of Mt Eliza overlooking the river towards South Perth
