Day 42 - Point Reserve Bassendean

An early start on a hot day for our last session of 2017! Point Reserve in Bassendean is home to two jetties, a nice little picnic area and a wide open park looking acrossto King's Meador Reserve and the Helena River mouth in Guildford.

We both managed two little paintings today, lots of interesting bird life and people enjoying the slow moving river in their canoes - already enjoying the summer heat and the holiday break..

That's it for 2017!! Join us again in 2018 for our final push in summer to the top of the Swan River, where we will finally jump to the other bank and work our way back down through Perth all the way to the ocean in Fremantle Harbour...
