Day 41 - Sandy Beach reserve to Pickering Park

An early enough start saw us arrive at a location we'd scouted last time - Sandy Beach Reserve in Bassendean.  A nice little area with lots of people going past on canoes. The weather heated up pretty quick but we pushed through and got some good works done.

Moving on up the river for one last painting for the day at Pickering Park, woth views across the now-lazy river to Guildford. A minor disaster today with the wind blowing Peter's tripod and painting box over, which was generously fixed by a chef at a nearby cafe!

Just as we finished packing up before lunch, picking up our gear from the scrub under the trees near the waters edge, we found an old dried out used up hog bristle paintbrush which must have been laying there forgotten for years - and the interesting realization that we maybe werent the first painters to work our way up the Swan river!
